SPSCC welcomes five full-time faculty members

South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC) kicked off its 2023-24 academic year by welcoming five new full-time tenure-track faculty members to the college.

Megan Connell, nursing professor

Connell received her Master of Science in Nursing degree in nursing education from Aspen University, Bachelor of Nursing degree from Saint Martin’s University, Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from The Evergreen State College and Associate of Science degree in nursing from Excelsior College.

William Goff, nursing professor

Goff received his Associate of Science degree in pre-nursing from Pierce College and his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and Master of Nursing degree from Pacific Lutheran University. He has worked part time for the college since September 2022.

Hailey Hobbs, accounting professor



Hobbs received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Grand Canyon University and Master of Accounting degree from University of Washington.

Shannon Kelley, nursing professor

Kelley received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from University of Phoenix, Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Pacific Lutheran University and Associate of Entrepreneurship degree from University of Colorado.

Dr. Sara Rose, physics professor

Rose received her Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and physics, Master of Science degree in teaching physics and Doctor of Philosophy degree in curriculum and instruction in secondary and continuing education from University of Illinois. She has worked part time for the college since September 2019.
