The Rainier High School volleyball team quickly rebounded from its Tuesday five-set loss at Toutle Lake with a dominant sweep of Winlock at home Thursday night.

Rainier allowed just 13 points all night, with set scores of 25-3, 25-7 and 25-3. Katelyn Eckroth put up a gem on the service line with 12 aces, and she dished out 13 assists. Allyson Ooms tallied nine kills, and Anika Plowman recorded six aces and four kills. Ellie Pringle added four aces and two kills.

“The girls played well and served strong,” Rainier head coach Carrie Ooms said. “They were able to maintain their focus and bounced back from our loss on Tuesday.”
