Marilee Rose Gamin: 1957-2019


Marilee Rose Gamin passed away Dec. 5, 2019, in Lacey, Wash. She was born Dec. 27, 1957, to Jack and Olive Gamin in Tacoma, Wash.

Marilee graduated from Franklin Pierce High School in Pierce County, Wash. She worked for the Yelm School District as a cafeteria server, or as she was lovingly known, a “Lunch Lady”. Marilee loved home gardening, her cherished pets, fishing, working on charity events and most of all, spending time with her family. She was also a member of Yelm Eagles Lodge #4144 and enjoyed their service activities.

Marilee is survived by her brother, Tim Gamin of Tenino, Wash.; sister, Janelle Laurent of Aurora, Ore.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Gamin; mother, Olive Anderson; brother, Eric Anderson; and grandparents, Terry and Ruby LaVon, and Art and Pearl Gamin.
