We Love Rainier WA presented thesauruses to fourth graders at Rainier Elementary School and Eagle View Christian School in March. The nonprofit organization partnered with OBEE Credit Union, which donated money to purchase the thesauruses. According to volunteer George Johnson, the donation was part of a new project for the nonprofit organization, along with its dictionary donation in collaboration with Twin Star Credit Union.
“We hope to continue these programs year after year. We feel that it is important to supply our students with these learning aids,” Johnson said. “We thank these two great credit unions for helping our students.”
We Love Rainier WA also purchases school supplies for teachers and students at the halfway point of the school year and clothing purchases for students in the fall.
