I believe that you should do an article on artists in the community, perhaps visit a few homes who have artists in them for an interview. Artists are sort of an unnoticed gem in many locations and deserve more attention.

Or maybe do an article on the problem with bullying and violence. This is coming from a student who suffered horrific amounts of bullying and harassment at Mill Pond Elementary and an administrator who I believe did nothing to help me and defended the teachers and bullies willingly.

There’s also the drug and vaping problem, and the weed store is part of the problem. There’s too many students doing drugs in the high school. You can even talk about the veterans in the community and thank them for their service if you haven’t already.

There’s many things you all should talk about, perhaps even about some smaller businesses that are trying to stand on their two feet with the little funds they can make from visitors.

There are some things in the community that need more attention, and be sure to speak of the homeless people and give support to them as winter is fast approaching, if not already happening. It is a difficult time because many die from the cold during the winter.
