The traveling “Sasquatch Revealed” exhibit has arrived at the Lacey Museum and will be available for public viewing during museum hours through Aug. 31.
The exhibit is courtesy of Christopher Murphy, a Canadian sasquatch expert whose exhibit contains the world’s largest collection of artifacts and artwork on topics related to bigfoot, according to a museum press release.
“For thousands of years, sasquatch has been an important part of Native culture,” the press release states. “In the past two centuries, it has become a wider cultural phenomenon as non-Natives also reported its existence.”
The Lacey Museum has called sasquatch the greatest mystery in North America, stating that scientists have even joined the chase for this most-elusive creature.
Visit LaceyMuseum.org for more information. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday as well as 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
The museum is located at 829 Lacey St. SE, Lacey.
