Farmers Market

Customers flock to Thomas Mani and Karla Broschinski’s business, Bee Forever Apiary, at the Yelm Farmers Market Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Yelm Community Center.

While many events have been canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Yelm Farmers Market is planning to open with some adjustments.

The annual seasonal market will open May 23 and plans on operating for 23 weekends. The Yelm Farmers Market will be open every Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., until Oct. 24. It will be located at the Yelm Community Center.

The market will operate “with everyone’s health and safety as our main priority, we will have some new safety measures in place to make sure that everyone is being as safe as they possibly can be and ensuring that we have another amazing market season,” the organization said in a Facebook post earlier this month.
