Six Nisqually Valley college students took home honors from their respective colleges in the fall term.
Alec Kaasa, a resident of Yelm, made the Fall 2023 Dean’s List at Georgia Southwestern State University and was among 701 students recognized for scholastic achievement. A student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credit hours.
Five more students were named to the Fall 2023 President’s List at Southern New Hampshire University. They were:
• Brian Graves of Rainier
• Aundrea Dunlap of Rainier
• Brooke Meyers of Rainier
• Erin Gendron of Yelm
• Mitchell Dunham of Yelm
Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 and above for the reporting term are named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring and summer.
