Yelm Farm and Pet to Hold Annual Customer Appreciation Sale

Posted

Yelm Farm and Pet is set to host its annual customer appreciation and wood pellet sale later this week.

The event has gone on for over 10 years, and is set to span from Friday, Aug. 26 to Sunday, Aug. 28. The business wants to show its appreciation to the Yelm community after all of the support they have received over the years.

Beth Brueske, the co-owner of Yelm Farm and Pet, said the customer appreciation sale is their biggest sale and event of the year.

Radio station 96.9 KAYO will once again return to the store for the event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27.

According to Brueske, KAYO will have a “spin to win” wheel featuring prizes that include tickets to the Washington State Fair in Puyallup and concerts.

Yelm Farm and Pet will also host giveaways of its own. Brueske said they will hand out a Tarter round bale feeder, a Tarter cooler stand, a Purina cooler stand, and three full pallets of wood pellets.

“You can enter the raffle in person at the store, but you don’t have to be present to win,” Brueske said. “Each customer gets one raffle ticket and you don’t have to buy anything to enter. Once you’ve received your raffle ticket, you’ll drop it in the box for the raffle you want to try and win.”

Once the winners are drawn, Brueske said they will be contacted by phone. She noted Saturday, Aug. 27 is the only day for the raffle.

There will also be gift bags themed around dogs, cats and horses during the sale.

Brueske gave a shoutout to her employees at Yelm Farm and Pet, who she said have been a tremendous help throughout the process of organizing the annual customer appreciation event.

Strong community support can go a long way for a local business and Brueske knows that.

“It’s really important for us to be able to offer the customer service sale to our loyal customers,” Brueske said. “We truly do appreciate our customers. They’re our lifeline. We love them and we do this each year for them.”

Yelm Farm and Pet is located at 11242 Bald Hill Road SE in Yelm.
