The City of Yelm and Bloodworks Northwest are teaming up to host a blood drive to provide for patients throughout the Pacific Northwest and address a blood supply shortage as February marks American Heart Health month.
The blood drive will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28. People interested in donating blood can register for the event at https://donate.bloodworksnw.org/donor/schedules/sponsor_code.
Appointments last one hour, and participants are required to show photo ID at the Yelm Community Center. No one under the age of 16 is permitted onsite.
