The Yelm High School Connects Choir Committee is hosting a benefit concert at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the YHS Performing Arts Center to support the YHS choir’s trip to New York City in May.

Attendees can enjoy performances by alumni, staff, the high school show choir, junior show choir, Olympic Ballroom dancers and more. The committee will open doors at 5 p.m. for a silent auction, a raffle and a bake sale. Items included in the auction and raffle are belly dancing lessons, ballroom dancing lessons, Masonry Cafe Catering breakfasts for a year, a ride-along with Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders and more.

Tickets are free, but the committee encourages a $20 donation for ticket entry, as well as a bag of gently used clothing for one free raffle ticket.
