Ed Wiltsie, 59, of Yelm, died Wednesday, April 17 from a reoccurring medical issue.

He was well-known in the community for being an active opposing voice with city issues including bringing Walmart to the city, development and water issues.

“He was one of the kindest, sweetest men I’ve met,” said friend Steve Klein. “He will be sorely missed.”
