Timberland Library Summer Program Runs Through Aug. 31

Learning doesn’t have to stop when the school year ends: Those looking to enhance their summer through reading, exploring, creating and learning can take part in the Timberland Regional Library Summer Program, which runs June 1 through Aug. 31.

Kids who complete 10 activities through the program receive a complimentary pass to Northwest Trek Wildlife Park or Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, and a bookmark to redeem a free ticket to a Tacoma Rainiers game.

Library goers of all ages can visit any one of the 29 Timberland Regional Library (TRL) locations in Thurston, Lewis, Grays Harbor, Mason and Pacific counties any time before Aug. 31 to receive a free book and an activity log.

Participants can track their TRL Summer Library Program activities on their paper log or digitally at the Beanstack website or after downloading the Beanstack app.

Once 10 activities are completed, participants can return their paper log to the library or submit a digital log online to receive a certificate of completion.
