The Thurston County Resource Hub has recently announced its second annual resource fair. After a large turnout last year, the Hub is expanding the event with more community services, more partners and more impact, according to a news release from the Resource Hub.
In partnership with Molina Healthcare, Capitol Recovery Center and Evergreen Credit Union, the second annual Thurston County Resource Block Party will happen from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13.
Currently, 70 organizations have joined the party, including eight mobile units, all of whom will be providing free services to the community. The party will be held at 929 Lakeridge Drive SW, Olympia.

Things to look forward to at the event:
• Free childhood vaccines (ages 4-18)
• Free haircuts
• Free hot dog lunch
• Free veterinary and grooming services for homeless individual’s animals
• Free health screenings
• Free Hepatitis C testing with $10 gift card while supplies last
• Free books
• Free showers
• Free raffles every 30 minutes.
