The free community event brings together dozens of local agencies and nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping Thurston County residents access valuable services and resources in one convenient location, according to a news release from event organizers.
Attendees can enjoy a free hot dog lunch provided by the Olympia Host Lions Club while exploring a wide range of free services, including:
• Childhood immunizations for children ages 3-18
• Blood pressure and health screenings
• Blood donation drive
• Veterinary care and pet grooming
• Haircuts and showers
• DSHS Mobile Services
• Raffle prizes
• Information on healthcare, senior services, housing, financial resources and other community support programs

The annual Block Party is designed to make it easier for individuals and families to connect with the organizations that serve Thurston County while fostering collaboration among community partners.
“We’re excited to once again bring together so many incredible organizations that are committed to supporting our community,” event organizers said in the release. “Whether someone is looking for healthcare resources, assistance for their family, services for an older adult, or simply wants to learn what’s available in our community, this event offers something for everyone.”
