Tenino Farmers Market to Open for 19th Season on May 6

The Tenino Farmers Market will open its 19th season on Saturday, May 6. 

It will be located in the city’s downtown historic district on Olympia Street South. 

“This season, marketgoers will find familiar returning vendors and new vendors, with flowers and baskets, vegetable starts, bakery, farm-fresh produce, USDA meats, jewelry, soaps, pottery, candles, lotions, fiber and fabric handiwork, kettle corn, and whimsy,” stated a news release. 



The farmers market will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. from May 6 through Sept. 30. 

Special events this year following the opening day festivities include a Mother’s Day market on May 13, kid’s day on June 10, the Father’s Day market and T90 Quarrymen Car Club on June 17, Tenino’s 150th Jubilee celebration on July 8, the Blue Ribbon Pie Contest during Oregon Trails Day weekend on July 22, a celebration for National Farmers Market Week on Aug. 5, garlic day on Aug. 19, and the final market and pumpkin day on Sept. 30.
