The Tenino volleyball team dropped one set but won the other three in convincing fashion Tuesday, winning 25-9, 23-25, 25-15, 25-7 at Eatonville in a 1A Evergreen league duel.
“They played collectively tonight,” Tenino coach Shauna Carpenter said. “They really put it all together.”
Brookelynn Bratton led the Beavers (7-5, 2-2 1A Evergreen) at the net with 14 kills, and added 15 digs, five assists and an ace. Brianna Asay led the defense with 21 digs, and also had four kills, three aces, a block and an assist.
Katen Burkhardt had a double-double with 10 assists and 11 digs to go along with five kills, three aces and two blocks. Kiyah Goodwin sent back four blocks at the net, and Macy Griffis had six assists, two aces and seven digs.
Tenino will host league-leading Montesano on Thursday.
