When We Love Rainier WA, a community enrichment group local to the Nisqually Valley, reached out to the public for help with a painting project, Kolbie Raymond, Joshua Abbott and George Abbott — all members of Rainier Cub Scout Pack No. 9307 — stepped up to assist the local organization in late September.

According to a release, the three were joined by Scout leaders Sara Abbott and Jacob Raymond, who spent their weekend on Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 prepping and painting the signs that the organization uses to advertise community events.

Jerry’s Color Center in Yelm provided the Scouts with fresh paint and supplies and gave the organization a donation and discount, which “helped the non-profit group make this fresh, new paint job possible,” We Love Rainier WA volunteer Dina Wagner said in a release.
