Rainier High School is set to honor the state champion girls cross country team at halftime of the Mountaineers boys basketball game against Toutle Lake Thursday, Dec. 12. The girls, who took home the first girls team state title in school history in Pasco on Nov. 9, will be acknowledged for their dedication and hard work. The basketball game begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the new gym.
