Rainier’s Top 6 Get Limo Ride to Restaurant

Rainier High School’s Top 6 graduating seniors, their families and RHS administration staff Kristin Robinson, Jerrad Jeske and John Beckman were recognized at dinner provided by the Rainier Lions at Tahoma Valley Bar & Grill by the Yelm Golf Course.

The evening began with a limousine, courtesy of the Lions, transporting the seniors from Rainier High School to the Tahoma Valley Bar & Grill.

RHS counselor Robinson showed a slide presentation of the seniors through the years. Beckman and Jeske complimented the seniors on outstanding achievements.

Also speaking and congratulating the seniors and parents were Rainier Lions Evan Burnett and Chris Beck, Top 6 coordinator and president.

Dinner honoring the top graduating seniors for their academic achievements, and the parents and school administration, is an annual event hosted by the Rainier Lions Club.

The Lions also present scholarships in memory of Becky Waldron at graduation to seniors who volunteer their time and service to Lions’ projects within the community. Before her death, Waldron was a Lion for many years serving as treasurer and board member.
