With residents of Prestige Senior Living Rosemont not going out in public amid efforts to prevent exposure to COVID-19, the facility says some are in need of donations.

“With the implementation of not being out in public and family members help being sparse at this time, the residents at our assisted living/independent facility are unable to go to places like Walmart and buy their own things as they normally would,” Prestige Senior Living Rosemont wrote on Facebook. “Our staff is helping round the clock with residents’ needs, but could use a hand. A lot of friends and families have asked how they can help our residents in this time of crisis.”

The facility is accepting donations of the following items:

• Paper plates

• Paper meal products ( we are delivering meals to rooms )

• Toilet paper

• Briefs ( some residents buy their own )

• Puppy pads

• Laundry soap

• Kleenex

• Colored pencils

• Word searches, puzzle games, magazines, ect.

• Paper towels

• Dog food

• Cat litter

• Cat food

Online orders can be sent to 215 Killion Road NW, Yelm, Wash., 98597. Those donating can also deliver the items directly to the facility, but a staff member will come outside to meet them.
