Nisqually Markets recently announced that three of its four Shell locations — Camas Plaza on the Nisqually Reservation and the fuel retailer’s Lakewood and Frederickson locations — have each been recognized among the top-performing Shell sites in the world, according to a news release.
The sites earned a place in the prestigious People Make the Difference Real (PMTDR) mystery shopper program’s Global Gold Retailer tier, which comprises the top 1% Shell retail sites globally. This honor is reserved for only 36 locations out of Shell’s 47,000 global sites.
This achievement highlights the dedication of Nisqually Markets’s teams to maintaining exceptional standards in customer service, site appearance and operational performance, the business stated in the news release.
“To have three of our four Shell sites achieve this distinction is an extraordinary accomplishment,” said Sam Roark, director of retail operations at Nisqually Markets. “Our teams at Camas Plaza, Lakewood and Frederickson worked tirelessly throughout the year to ensure these locations exemplify the best Shell has to offer. Their dedication, combined with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences, has been key to this success.”
The Shell PMTDR program rigorously evaluates sites based on criteria such as cleanliness, customer satisfaction, adherence to marketing initiatives and operational excellence. Earning the recognition reinforces Nisqually Markets’ commitment to upholding these high standards while serving the Nisqually Indian Tribe and the surrounding communities, the business stated in the release.
“This honor reflects the incredible teamwork and pride that our staff puts into their work every day,” Roark said. “As someone who has personally achieved this recognition three times before joining Nisqually Markets, seeing our team earn it three times in a single year is incredibly rewarding.”
