Following the conclusion of a 3-6 season (2-3 SPSL South), eight Yelm High School football players have been honored with all-SPSL South Division honors for their efforts throughout the 2025 fall season.
Senior Jonah Smith was the lone Tornado named first team all-SPSL South, and he received honors as a defensive lineman. Smith additionally was named honorable mention as an offensive lineman.
Three Tornados were named second team all-SPSL South, including junior defensive lineman MJ Wadley, senior defensive back Jay Sumich and senior kicker Sterling Temple.
Five other Tornados received honorable mention honors in the all-SPSL South team, including senior wide receiver Jacob Ford, senior Sam DeJiacomo — who received honors as a running back and linebacker — senior running back Hunter Owens, senior defensive back Daniel Mendoza, and senior Jordan Swain, who was honored as a special teams player.
