Acclaimed stand-up comedian Sam Miller will perform live at the Stone City Event Center in Tenino on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Miller, from Olympia, is 6 feet, 6 inches tall, 360 pounds, and over 15 years sober. A former addict and repeat jailbird turned top-charting comedian, Miller uses his chaotic past and relentless honesty to create stand-up that is both hilarious and deeply human, according to a news release. His debut special “Round Trip” reached number one on the iTunes Comedy Chart, and he recently signed a three-album deal with Grammy-winning Stand Up! Records.
Miller’s comedy covers everything from addiction and recovery to parenting and public embarrassment. Whether he’s performing in theaters, breweries, prisons or small towns, Miller connects with audiences who love their laughs with a little grit and truth.
