In Loving Memory of Harold Harding: 1957-2023

Harold Arthur Harding, age 66, passed away Jan. 11, 2023, in Yelm, Washington, after a long battle with lung cancer and COPD. He was born on Nov. 29, 1957, in Youngstown, Ohio. His parents were Jim and Minnie (Adams) Harding. 

Harold had many talents and interests. He was a welder, real estate broker, and a life-long musician. He was a member of the Yelm Eagles and Yelm Moose Lodge. Some of his favorite pastimes included spending time with family and friends, barbecuing, cooking, camping, fishing and traveling. Making and listening to music was a big part of Harold’s life. He played music at Mickey Gilley’s Mad Festival in Olympia, Washington. He also played with Bobby Bear, Johnny Lewis and a great number of other notable musicians. He even spent time in Nashville, Tennessee, making and recording music with his mother, father, and daughter, Rosalie. 

Harold is and will continue to be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Donald, and brother-in-law Jim Padden. 

He leaves behind his life partner, Danette Beagle; sons Donald Harding and Harold Harding (Lindsey); daughters Joey (John), Rosalie (Izaak) and Heather Harding; brothers John (Vie), Jimmy (Tonya) and Ron (Myrna); sisters Patty Casavant (John), Janet Padden, Brenda Zigler (Karl), Melody Hicks (Kevin) and Freda Harding (Jason); grandchildren Christian, Sienna, Ayra, Issiah, Evelyn, Alyssa, Gabriel, Ella, Jade, Drew, Elle and Edie; and great-grandchildren Rosie, Dazey and Lewis.
