The Fuchsia Fanciers, a nonprofit gardening organization, is hosting a fuchsia plant sale on May 1 at the Factory Outlet Mall in Centralia.
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the Eddie Bauer and Polo Ralph Lauren stores, the Fuchsia Fanciers will sell over 500 plants. The cost is $3.50 per plant, and they will feature 80 different varieties.
The group is one of 13 in the Pacific Northwest under the umbrella of the Northwest Fuchsia Society. The 26 members meet on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at Fort Borst Park. The Fuchsia Fanciers aim to educate themselves and others about the growing and showing of fuchsias.
