Farrelli’s Pizza named Northwest Pizza Company of the Year

Farrelli’s Pizza was awarded the Pizza Company of the Year in the Pizza Industry Excellence (P.I.E.) Awards for the Northwest region by Pizza Today Magazine. The Lacey-based pizzeria earned one of the magazine’s five regional awards. The awards, launched in 2023, honor pizzeria operators and help celebrate their business accomplishments with more than 20 categories of awards.

“Pizza Today Magazine is the authority for our industry, and the P.I.E. Awards are the crown jewel of recognition,” said Clayton Krueger, director of marketing and communications for Farrelli’s Pizza, in a press release. “We are thrilled to have been recognized as a 2023 P.I.E. Award recipient.”

This is not the first time Farrelli’s has received national recognition from Pizza Today Magazine. In 2006, the company was named the Independent Pizzeria of the Year, an honor that earned it a keynote role at the International Pizza Expo in Las Vegas in 2007.



“To receive this award from Pizza Today is humbling, and to be included alongside operators that we know and admire is an honor,” said Jacque Farrell, CEO of Farrelli’s Pizza, in a press release. “Although awards and accolades are not ultimately what motivates us, it is so rewarding when we are recognized in our industry for our efforts. It encourages us to keep up the hard but rewarding work of growing vibrant working teams and nourishing our neighborhoods, which is the real motivation behind the work that we do.”

Farrelli’s Pizza, founded in 1995 by John and Jacque Farrell, has since grown to 12 units across the Puget Sound region, including in Yelm.
