The eighth annual Jazz in the Park saw very limited greenspace available at Yelm City Park during the evening hours of Friday, Aug. 1, and Saturday, Aug. 2, as the local community packed the popular public area for a night of music, relaxation, entertainment and community building.
A variety of musicians took to Yelm City Park’s Centennial Stage over the course of the two-day event, and the hundreds in attendance were able to relax, enjoy the live jazz bands, and take in “the breathtaking view of Mount Rainier,” according to an online description of the event.
