The Red White Blue Agency hosted a “Retro Rainier Independence Day Celebration” on Saturday, July 2 at Wilkowski Park in Rainier. The event featured a variety of activities, like carnival-style games and food vendors.
The family-friendly event also included performances by acrobats and had local law enforcement vehicles on display.
From 2 to 8 p.m., visitors had the opportunity to walk through Wilkowski Park and learn more about several local vendors. The Red White Blue Agency was in attendance to provide All-State insurance information to attendees, as well as lobby for more community-hosted events.
At the top of each hour, a local DJ announced a different race, including a three legged race, a sack race, and an egg toss.
In one of the corners at Wilkowski Park, beautiful vintage cars were on display.
The event saw plenty of foot traffic throughout the day. A lot of bright smiles were on display, and the sound of laughter blended in with country music as the event came to a close.
