For Thurston County residents seeking to dispose of natural Christmas trees, free tree collection and drop-off opportunities are available county-wide.
According to a county news release, people preparing their natural trees for recycling should remove all ornaments, lights, stands, nails and tinsel before drop-off. Flocked trees are accepted. Search “Christmas tree” in the online directory at WhereDoITakeMy.org for program details.
