Auditor’s Office will conduct random audit of the Nov. 4 General Election

The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will conduct a random audit of the Tuesday, Nov. 4, general election, according to a news release from the Auditor’s Office. This test demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment.

Observers are appointed by the county Democratic and Republican parties to be on hand during the audit. If present, observers will be able to ask questions and learn more about the election process. To become an official observer, contact the local party.



The random audit will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Ballot Processing Center, 2905 29th Avenue SW, Tumwater.
