The 1,739-acre alpaca farm on Old Highway 99 just south of Tenino is on the market for $15 million.
The property includes 260 acres within the city of Tenino boundaries and is potentially zoned medium density rural, high density rural, commercial, light industrial and industrial. It would require master planning to develop with city sewer and water.
About 700 acres are in lowland pasture, with another 1,000 acres of upland forest containing a resident elk herd and cattle grazing areas. The property has roads, fencing and irrigation, with 120,000 square feet under roof in 53 different buildings. The listing agent states the property was a world-class horse breeding facility. It has 100 acre-feet of water rights and a 2,500-square-foot office.
It was last sold in December of 2001 for $1.3 million and has been on the market for about two weeks.
