All Star Game

A number of Yelm High School graduates capped their high school football careers last weekend at the annual Washington 3A/4A East-West All-State Game, where East took home the win, 48-7.

Yelm’s Derrick Platt, Kyle Robinson and Kodee Gifford were among the 40 athletes that faced off in Tomlinson Stadium at Central Washington University, Ellensburg.

Robinson secured the team’s first touchdown within three minutes, thanks to a 18-yard run to Yelm's Austen Osso, according to Yelm athletic director Rob Hill. Overall, Gifford found two catches and two touchdowns for the East team, and worked in 95 yards of receiving, according to stats.
