Homelessness in Yelm is a slight problem in our community.

Some homeless people in Yelm tend to leave trash everywhere and not pick up after themselves, especially the people on Northern Pacific Road.

Some citizens in Yelm actually care about how our streets look and how our environment is treated. Some people say that the homeless people in our town should be able to get a chance to join a program to have a home or a job.

Some of the homeless people in our town sometimes get out of hand with their trash and personal belongings.
