Having six children who have gone through or currently are enrolled in Yelm Community Schools, we know how very important nurses, counselors, sports and the SPED department of school education is.

We adopted our last two children through the foster care system. Both of our babies had a rough start to their little lives. When they began going to school, they had some struggles. In partnership with teachers and the YCS SPED department, we got them the support and assistance they needed to do and be their best and succeed in school. The YCS SPED department, Mill Pond Elementary, RMS counselors and some YCS physiologists have been a tremendous support to our two little ones! Without their support they would not be as successful as they are today!

All of these programs rely on levy funding and that is why we pledge our support and will be voting yes for the Yelm Community Schools levy in February and we encourage you to do the same!
