Warren Williams was ousted from his volunteer position as executive director of the Yelm Adult Community Center last week amid allegations by board members of financial misconduct.

Williams, who said he has been executive director of the center for about eight years, said he was home for three days last week due to illness. On Friday, he said he received a call from an adult community center representative informing him that because he had missed three days, he was being terminated as executive director.
