A motorcycle benefit ride to raise money for the family of a man who recently died will roll through parts of Lewis and Thurston counties on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The Mitch Audley Family Benefit Ride will begin at 10 a.m. at Ironhorse Apparel, 18419 Bucoda Highway SE, Tenino. There will be coffee, juice and pastries as registration takes place until 11 a.m.

The cost is $20 for one rider and $25 for two.

Stops will take place at The Brown Shack Tavern in Salkum, Elbe Bar and Roundup Restaurant in Graham before coming to an end at the Quarter Mile Bar and Grill, 404 N First St. South, Yelm. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be served.

All proceeds will go to Mitch Audley’s wife, Christina.

Prizes are provided by Dyno Steve, Redline Cycles, Yamaha Motorsports of Olympia, Ghost Dog Tattoos, Eagle Leather and more.

An online fundraising campaign has also been created.

“As you all know Mitch, loving husband, father and grandfather who was a generous, caring, fun-loving dude has passed away comfortably in his sleep Saturday (Aug. 24),” the campaign organizer at wrote. “This was so sudden and terribly unexpected as he was only 52 years old. Unfortunately we did not have time to put together a last will and testament, and there isn't a life insurance policy in place for his wife Christina who is retired. For all of you that have been a part of Mitch's amazing journey from wrenching and wheeling, to quad riding and sand slinging, to corvette and motorcycle cruising, to shooting and boating, we all know he loved to share fun times with everyone. He was a workaholic but only to provide all of that for his family. If you would like to help in any way with the outstanding debts, final expenses and the long, hard road ahead it would be so greatly appreciated by not only Mitch's immediate family but also his three grandchildren who absolutely loved playing with their silly Papa.”
