A 21-year-old Eatonville motorcyclist was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center after crashing his motorcycle on northbound State Route 7 Wednesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Joseph M. Warner was traveling north near mile marker 23 just before 8 p.m. when his 2014 Suzuki GSX-R1000 crossed the southbound lane and struck a guardrail. Warner was ejected and came to rest on the southbound lane. The motorcycle, which was totaled, landed in a ditch on the northbound shoulder.

The roadway was blocked for an hour and a half.

The state patrol listed speeding too fast for conditions as the cause of the crash.
