Have opinions on drones, self-driving cars, toll lanes or are passionate about local transportation projects? The Thurston Regional Planning Council wants to hear about your transportation priorities.

As part of an update to its regional transportation plan, the council has released a 13-question survey that helps identify what transportation projects Thurston County residents would like to prioritize.

The survey can be found at www.trpc.org/rtp. All members of the community are encouraged to take part in this brief survey.

The regional transportation plan is a document that looks out over 25 years and considers what local communities’ transportation needs will be and how the council can prepare for them. Senior Planner Katrina Van Every said this document is updated about every five years.

This survey will be available to the public during the months of January and February. In March and April, TRPC will begin drafting the revised document. A public comment period and review will then be available in April and May.
