The Thurston Conservation District will take community input on its effort to update its five-year strategic plan at a public meeting next month.

Community members are encouraged to come to the Yelm Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, to provide their input on what work the conservation district should prioritize moving forward.

This event is a part of three events the Thurston Conservation District will hold throughout the county. Meetings will also be held at the SPSCC Lacey Campus on Tuesday, Nov. 12, and at the Gate Community School House in Rochester on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

For any questions on the strategic planning event, contact Executive Director Sarah Moorehead at 360-754-3588 or through email at smoorehead@thurstoncd.com.
