State health officials have immediately suspended the license of Pierce County home care aide Margaret Loe pending further legal action.

Charges state that while providing in-home care for a patient with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, Loe was videotaped hugging, kissing and engaging in oral sex with the patient.

Loe cannot practice as a home care aide in Washington until the charges are resolved. She has 20 days to respond to the charges and to ask for a hearing.

The statement of charges alleges Loe was captured on surveillance video hugging, kissing and expressing romantic feelings for the patient, who she began caring for a year ago, on Aug. 14.

The man's wife observed the activity on surveillance footage and reported it to the Department of Health.

She was captured on video engaging in oral sex with the patient on Aug. 21.

She allegedly admitted to a romantic and sexual relationship with the patient, including expressing love, kissing and engaging in sexual acts.
