More than 200 people representing businesses and organizations throughout the area were in attendance Thursday, Nov. 7, for the Best of Nisqually Gala at the Puget Sound Entertainment Center in Yelm. 

The winners were produced through a public vote facilitated by the Nisqually Valley News while the gala was hosted by the Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce. 

The evening featured live music, dinner, fundraisers and more. 

Lafromboise Communications Chief Operating Officer Kim Proffit and Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce President and Prairie Hotel General Manager Angie Evans emceed the awards while Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Line Critchfield led most of the proceedings.
