The SmileMobile will be in Yelm later this month.

The Arcora Foundation’s SmileMobile — a brightly painted, 39-foot dental clinic on wheels — will be hard to miss when it rolls into Yelm Jan. 27-31.

It will be parked at Yelm Middle School, 402 W. Yelm Ave.

The SmileMobile is staffed by a dentist, clinic manager, dental assistant and local volunteer dentists.

The staff will provide oral health education, dental examinations, sealants, fillings and simple extractions for babies (first tooth) up through high school age, pregnant or postpartum women with Apple Health and those who are uninsured.

Those who would like to make an appointment or have questions can call 1-888-286-9105.

The SmileMobile is operated by the nonprofit Arcora Foundation in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital. Arcora Foundation is funded by nonprofit Delta Dental of Washington, the state’s largest dental benefits company.

The SmileMobile, which travels the state year-round providing services ranging from exams and preventive care to fillings and minor oral surgery, has examined and treated more than 46,000 patients in communities throughout Washington.
