Saturday’s Southeast Thurston County Relay for Life Kickoff 2015 event at Baydo Chevrolet was highlighted by a $500 donation by the car dealership.

“S.E. Thurston County definitely represented at our Wish Upon a Relay kick off,” said organizer Nichole Woolsey, pictured at right. “The passion and the determination to end cancer and celebrate survivors in the community was apparent with Saturday's biggest turn out to date. I am elated to see so much of our youth take a stand and overcome with pride to know I live amongst neighbors raising awareness and leading by example. We will end cancer and we will do it as a team.”

Woolsey have special thanks to Baydo Chevrolet for donating the venue and the $500 donation, K2K deejaying and sound, Nisqually Valley News for “amazing support in advertising and print materials,” Applebee's, Offut Lake’s Lady of the Lake, Cattlemens and Main Street cookies for snacks and refreshments, and many local businesses for generosity with door prizes.
