Warm weather brought a large crowd for the Roy Pioneer Rodeo last weekend.

The two days of bucking broncos, wild cow milking, barrel racing and all the events that make up the rodeo included two trips to the hospital for injured cowboys.

Along with the events in the corral, the rodeo brought a distinct flavor to the small town on the southeast edge of Pierce County, including a beer garden, barbecue and even a wet T-shirt contest at the nearby Roy Pub and Eatery.
