•Nisqually Valley Moose Lodge, Women of the Moose, presents its first annual Spring Bazaar. from 10 a.m. to  4 p.m. at the lodge. Shop with local vendors for Mother’s Day. There will be many great gift ideas that any Mother would love. 

•Yelm Post Office is doing a food drive. Bag healthy non-perishable food items and place by you mailbox for your letter carrier to pick up and deliver to food banks and pantries in you community.

•Tahoma Valley Golf Course and Veterans Independence Foundation present the First Annual Charity Golf Classic at 8 a.m. at the gold course, 15425 Mosman Ave. SW, Yelm. The proceeds will aid veterans. Packages start at $95. Register at veteransindependencefoundation.org or the Pro Shop.

•Mat Yoga is held 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays at the Yelm Timberland Library. Wear comfortable clothing, bring your mat and be ready to stretch in this floor yoga program.

•Restorative Yoga is held at noon on Saturdays at the Yelm Timberland Library. Restorative Yoga involves holding a reclining or sitting pose for 5 to 10 minutes to allow deep relaxation. Props are used to support the body. For example, a folded blanket or bolster on the legs will support the torso in a seated forward fold. Each participant needs to bring a mat, a yoga block, and a blanket. Additional blocks, blanket and bolsters will allow for deeper relaxation, but are not essential.

•Senior Center of Rainier has a casino trip planned that is leaving Rainier at 10:30 at the senior center, and return by 3 p.m. Lucky Eagle will supply transportation to and from, free of charge. Lucky Eagle also will give each person a $5 food coupon and a $10 gaming coupon. Participants need an ID. Seating is limited so seats early by calling George Johnson at 360-292-5363.
