•Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce presents its  Nisqually Valley Home and Garden Show, which will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saturday and Sunday, April 27-28, at Yelm High School. Join us at our annual Home and Garden Show! We have vendors to help with things both inside and outside of the house. Let us help you by finding everything under one roof.

Props are used to support the body. For example, a folded blanket or bolster on the legs will support the torso in a seated forward fold. Each participant needs to bring a mat, a yoga block, and a blanket. Additional blocks, blanket and bolsters will allow for deeper relaxation, but are not essential.

•TOPS of Yelm meets Mondays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Yelm Prairie Christian Center, 501 103rd Ave. Attendees are 7 years old to senior citizens. •Yelm Timberland Library will host a co-op session of Overcooked at 3 p.m. at the library. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs must prepare, cook and serve up a variety of tasty orders before the customers storm out. Take part in an epic journey across the Onion Kingdom and tackle an increasingly challenging and bizarre gauntlet of kitchens which will push your skills of cooperation and coordination to the very limits. •Tahoma Valley Golf Course presents a golf scramble, hosted by Yelm Real Estate and Business Network, at 8 a.m. at the golf course. A team of four will cost $270, which includes a cart, lunch and two drinks each.

•Yelm Dollars for Scholars will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. in the Yelm High School library. This general meeting is to plan and make happen the annual Dollars for Scholars auction event held in March, that provides scholarships to Yelm High School graduating seniors. •Friends of the Yelm Timberland Library will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month, at the library. Support the library and the programs it provides. Get involved by using your talents to support community growth. All are welcome!

•Senior Center of Rainier has a casino trip planned that is leaving Rainier at 10:30 at the senior center, and return by 3 p.m. Lucky Eagle will supply transportation to and from, free of charge. Lucky Eagle also will give each person a $5 food coupon and a $10 gaming coupon. Participants need an ID. Seating is limited so seats early by calling George Johnson at 360-292-5363.
